We are pleased to be able to offer our guests pontoon boat tours on beautiful Lake Pleasant. This is the second largest lake in the state of Arizona and offers spectacular boating opportunities and breath taking views of the surrounding mountains and desert shoreline. This is the real thing. It is not just another horseback ride.
You will start your ride from an authentic old cowboy camp/ranch headquarters built not for tourists, but before tourists located in the Castle Hot Springs area near Lake Pleasant. Betty's Trail Rides is in the heart of cowboy land, surrounded by present day cattle ranches and is the most spectacular part of the Sonoran Desert. Horseback riding has been an everday part of life here since the early territorial days of Arizona. We have exclusive permits to take you on the adventure of your life into seldom seen areas of the majestic Hell's Canyon Wilderness Area, the Lake Pleasant Regional Park and many other trails used by Native Americans and settlers of yesteryear. Travel back in time and cross this majestic, virtually unchanged, landscape on horseback as the early pioneers did. See the places where Native American people lived. Ride over the old ranch ranges many of which are still used today, and traveling past old prospector's diggings will take you back to a time where you can see the early Arizona moments of history in the making. You will always look back with joy on this Arizona Moment of desert mountains and winding through giant saguaro cacti.
We offer these Arizona Moments rides from the middle of October until the end of April. After that we are in Mexican Hat, Utah for the Summer. (See our Summer in Utah page.)
